Caching Topologies and Mitigations
When implementing Redis as a cache in front of a primary database, you must choose an update topology:
- Cache-Aside (Lazy Loading): The application reads from the cache first. If a cache miss occurs, it queries the database, writes the result to the cache with a Time-to-Live (TTL) expiration, and returns the data.
