A snapshot of what I'm focused on right now — a /now page in the Derek Sivers tradition. Updated roughly monthly.
Building
Maintaining the oriz family of static sites — the blog (this one), oriz.in home, finance calculators, book summaries, image tools, and the cross-post engine that keeps RSS in sync with dev.to / Bluesky / Buttondown / Reddit. The current batch focuses on consolidating the design system, hardening the markdown pipeline (Astro 6.4 + unified migration), and shipping the public lifestream that auto-tracks code, reading, and health stats — no manual journaling.
Learning
Going deep on agentic LLM workflows (Claude Agent SDK, MCP server design), Rust-powered build tooling (the new Sätteri markdown processor, biome, tokei), and practical Cloudflare Workers patterns for free-tier static-first architectures. On the side: distributed systems theory and a slow walk through the IT career guide series I'm writing as I learn.
Day job
Backend systems and cloud platforms. Off-hours go to writing, building these tools, and reading.
