Maharashtra:

  • Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MJPJAY): ₹1.5-2 Lakh coverage (converged with PM-JAY for higher limit). Cashless at empanelled hospitals.
  • Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai — India’s #1 cancer hospital. BPL patients get near-free treatment. “General” category = heavily subsidized.
  • KEM Hospital, Mumbai — Premier govt hospital. Free OPD. Excellent for surgery.
  • JJ Hospital, Mumbai — Large government hospital. Free for BPL.
  • Sassoon Hospital, Pune — Major govt hospital for Pune region.
  • AIIMS Nagpur — Neurosurgery, general medicine.

Gujarat:

  • Mukhyamantri Amrutum (MA) Yojana: ₹5 Lakh coverage. Cashless at empanelled hospitals.
  • Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad — Asia’s largest hospital by bed count (~2,500 beds). Free OPD.
  • Gujarat Cancer Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad — Free/subsidized cancer treatment.
  • AIIMS Rajkot — Newer AIIMS campus.

Goa:

  • Goa Medical College, Bambolim — Free OPD and treatment for Goa residents.
